Today is new holster day. When my holster had not been updated I got a little concerned. I reached out and found out that I had ordered a quick ship holster but through the custom side. One email and it was fixed and in a day or two it was in the mail. JM Kydex rocks! I’ve spent two days on a heating pad but as soon as I whip this I look forward to being able to AIWB a Glock 34.

Now that I got a new G43 in hand, I went ham on holsters. Got an AIWB with steel clip for beltless carry, AIWB 2.0 + mag carrier (ability to accommodate a G48 is nice for the future), as well as an IWB 3.0 inbound. Excessive? Most likely. But every one fills a role. Thanks for making awesome products!

I never met George in person but I'm glad he is good friends with the best holster maker around. I'm a fan of the George holster. The options Tony provides for AWIB carry and extra muzzle length for small autos is awesome.

I have a love/hate relationship with Tony's split loop but I won't hold that against him.

JM Custom Kydex AIWB Wing Claw 2.5 for my P365X (XL length shell), DCC Monoblok, lefty, p-f orange, full guard, normal hole pattern, RDS cut. I also asked Tony to put in holes at both ends to preserve the option to install DCC clips if I ended up wanting to try those. Pictured right is the old P365XL left-over shell I have been using. I ended up trying a PTD; oddly it is the one thing about carrying that prints.

Super happy with this new rig. Tony Mayer knocks it out of the park again.

That’s what I liked about it. Narrower so a wing, isn’t rubbing on my leg where I wear it. Not that my Wing claw for my 45 Shield is bad, but the Trex raptor is uncomfortable since the wing and even some of the holster body is jabbing me.

I figured with how long the full size 92 is, a slimmer/narrower holster would help it sit in the area between my leg and other important items ;) , and it does.

i only carry AIWB so cannot speak about other methods. I use exclusively full height kydex to protect the slide as much as possible from my perspiration. for Tony’s holsters Ive not found a wingclaw to be at all necessary. adding a mag carrier opposite the pistol causes the same (or more) grip rotation than a wing. sounds nuts but it works.

my suggestion would be start w full shield and if needed could always trim it.

Only aiwb here as well, right now a 1911.
The full shield is great for keeping the safety and sights from diggin in to my gut.
Being my Centurion has the Decocker, I again went with a full shield.

I always go with the full size shield for AIWB. You can always trim it down if needed.

Remember the gun is always going to be there. So either sharp metal or smooth Kydex is going to touch you one way or another.

I’ve only ever had a guard cover the inboard side decocker on pistols with them, so not sure if it would be less comfortable without.

Two big road trips in August.... Drove 14 hours DFW to Tucson in a day and 2 weeks later another 14 hours DFW to Boulder in a big UHaul. Both while AIWB G19 in a wing claw with light and dot.

I'm sure there are other great holster makers out there, but, I've quit looking. :cool:

Not that he probably needs it, but I just wanted to give Tony/JM Custom an "Atta-Boy" for making quality kydex gear.

I'm constantly adding to the dozen plus pieces of gear that I already own and my most recent order (some mag carriers delivered today) prompted me to make this post. The subtle, and not so subtle differences between JM and the majority of the garbage I have purchased in the past (before discovering JM) is significant.

Other than an old Blade-Tech holster that I purchased back when Tim Wegner first came on the scene, I use JM stuff exclusively and they are the only maker that I recommend to others without reservation.

No one sees the labels...and when you have a big box of holsters and need to find one, man does this make life easier. A silver sharpie on the black ones, a black sharpie on the FDE and OD Green ones. I also label the mag carriers the same way...THAT one has REALLY come in handy. Kind of hard to mistake a 1911 holster for a HK USP holster, but trying to figure out which mag carrier is for an HKP30, CZ P07/09, or a Beretta PX4...

My JMCK AIWB Wingclaw 2.5 for my P365 arrived yesterday. I ordered for the X MACRO with the TLR7 Sub 1913. My pistol fits perfectly with the PMM JTTC Comp with about a half inch of available space for a longer slide if needed. Very comfortable and conceals very well. As usual Tony and his crew make an excellent product and service is first rate.
