You need to decide whether you want to sue us or buy our guns, mis amigos. You can't have it both ways.

It's brilliant, actually. Buy guns from Sig, make the rest of the U.S. gun industry pay for them.

Of course when Sig's inexplicably turn up in the hands of the cartels, will they have to sue Sig, too?

Fairly small contract. I wonder what rifle it is?

Is that like building a wall and having Mexico pay for it?

An American(-ish) gun company selling guns to Mexico while Mexico is actively trying to sue American gun companies for issues caused by their own failed state, reeks of chickenshittery. Don't do that deal, SIG.

Probably the only company with an "ethics level" appropriate for the buyer....

Strictly in my uneducated opinion, I feel that if SIG goes forward with this deal in the face of the Mexican government suit, the blowback will make what happened to Springfield Armory or Smith & Wesson look like spilled club soda on the carpet of a close friend.

Consider the principles of a company like, for example, Barrett, and how those principles (right or wrong) as applied toward California enhanced (in my view) their image in the 2A community.

My curiosity has gotten the better of me. Why do you post every deal that SIG makes?

As far as the rifles go, I'm sure they'll be firing at CBP soon enough.

Unfortunately, I believe this is true no matter which company would have won the contract with Mexico for new rifles.

I thought MX produced the FX-05. At least that's what I thought I saw the last time I was there.
