We will be running a practice session consisting of three IPSC classifier stages at the NRA Range on Sunday July 29 starting at 7:30 pm and ending at 10:30 pm. (IPSC only as the NRA Range is holding an IPSC match on Tuesday, July 31.) You may shoot one or more stages in any order and as many times as you want. The cost is $5 per stage (6 stages for $25), first come first served. Each stage will be timed and scored so that you can see where you stand. The scores are unofficial and this is a PRACTICE session.

Also, for your enjoyment (or frustration, as the case may be) we will have the dreaded MGM Spinner Target up for the same $5 per session (2 min max, or you turn it).

We will also be conducting a class for beginner competitors in the NRA classroom from 7:30-8:30 pm. We will cover the basic gear, range commands, strategies, etc. You will be guaranteed to shoot each of the classifier stages that we put up. The cost for this package is $40.00.

We hope to make this a somewhat regular event with the next one scheduled for August 12, which will be steel-only with swingers, poppers, etc.

For the future, we are investing in other target types such as the whirly-gig, drop-turner, snapper, pop-up, etc., some rifle oriented targets, as well as some actuator systems, such as a pressure plate. We are also constructing a horizontal mover system for the NRA Range, which will be functional within two weeks.

Our goal with these sessions is for competition shooters to practice with classifier stages and moving target systems, and for all to have fun. I hope to see you there.
