He's done some others since - two with Karl Rehn of KRTraining and one with Steve Moses. The ones with Karl were concerned with business practices for trainers and what one needs to do to host a traveling trainer; the one with Steve was about staying in one's lane (I thought, "Watch your lane" and had a flashback to M16 quals with pop-up targets) with an emphasis on training house of worship security teams. As a consumer rather than a producer of training, they didn't really apply to me but it was interesting to listen to and get an idea of how the other half lives :) and the challenges they face.

The end-user application would be in evaluating and selecting your training provider.

I started feeling like a spammer posting the links so much.

For those interested in audio podcast rather than the YouTube videos, here is the link (https://anchor.fm/lee-weems).

As referenced in the conversation with Mr. Eastridge, Mr. Weems recently moseyed on over to the On Duty/Off Duty podcast.

https://offdutyonduty.com/258/episode-47-cops-cant-shoot/

Give it a listen, and perhaps wish him a happy one-year anniversary since the first episode has a posting date of July 27, 2020. Lots of familiar names on the guest list, including DB and TC.

While listening to the new one I kept saying to myself there is no way this guy is in his early 20's. Danged if they didn't repeat it at the end that he is 23. A lot of wisdom for a guy that age.

He was raised right before he was raised right.

I've met his brothers, and they are good people too.

I was present at the event where that picture with Mas was taken last year. He seemed even more youthful in person, especially when he didn't have to present himself as professionally as he did in this recent episode.

Just for reference, Mike Waidelich was the RM at Bakersfield PD, not Burbank, where he did great work.

Larry Nichols was the very innovative RM at Burbank for decades.

Yeah, I've trained privately with DB twice now, and once with Wayne here at TacCon, and they've become my primary source for info in regards to concealed carry, considering their focus on accountability, shooting at assessment speed, and general tactics. That being said, I also appreciate the work of Spaulding, Weems, Hearne, and others from the Rangemaster group.
Lee's show has covered some great topics lately, and has quickly become my favorite one to watch. Listening to the variations on the Casino drill from John was excellent, and I'd love to dive into some of that, although I'm sure it would be very challenging, but that's the point of it.

**I did the 'High Accountability' course with him privately in Havasu, and wow, that was humbling! No wonder there were no AAR's on this when the first one happened in DFW! (it crushes your ego, however much you may have) and makes you consider things quite differently. It makes you realize what's really important...

There is some problem with the feed. If you go directly to Anchor or Spotify, it should play.

Just listened to All the HiTS while cooking and loved it.

An older buddy is very anti-computer/internet so I've been burning him mixtapes on CD and USB to play in his car. This will be going on his next refill along with the P&S shotgun episode.

Thanks for all the chatter about the old ways an assessment speed shooting. He works seven day weeks and making it to distant training isn't going to happen plus the cumulative effect of decades of outdoor construction work. Dialing down to lower round count stuff and noting spit times that are realistic for him to aim for has notably improved his pistol shooting. Coming from a background of silhouette and bullseye, the accuracy focus in small targets that the types of guys in this episode espouse really catches his attention and gets him to listen. And cortchety or humorous old cop stories keep his attention in a longer format he usually avoids. So thanks for helping out a friend.

I couldn't agree more. Occasionally, I'll listen to a podcast where I send the link to my wife and daughter with a suggestion to listen to it. There have been very few, mostly interviews with Dr. Aprill and a couple of the other Shivworks guys, where I have asked them to please listen to them asap and do it with their full attention.
I stopped during the middle of mowing the yard, after finishing the episode with Ms. Evans, and made the request that they put it on the top of their lists.
