Hi, first post.
I recently acquired a Radom 35 made in Poland by Nazi slave labors. My issue is the gun jams after one or to shots. I cleaned and polished the chamber and lift gate but it still jams.
Any idea on what to try next?
Thanks,
Rainman

We need more data. A picture of the malfunction would be ideal, or at least a detailed description of the type of malfunction.
Random guess - needs new springs in the magazines or completely new magazines.
Oh, yeah. Seriously? No pics of a cool historical pistol like a Vis 35? Ban him, LL.

Not sure what the lift gate is but WWII era guns are 75 years old. Springs are wear items on guns. Many WWII era guns need new springs (recoil spring, magazine springs etc ) to function properly.
Also what type of ammunition ? Is it factory loaded or handloads ? Have you tried more than one type of ammunition ?

I'd agree that you are going to need to swap out your recoil springs and mag springs.
Looking at the exploded view here (https://www.gunpartscorp.com/gun-manufacturer/radom/1935-p-35), I'd also say that you'll need to check your extractor tension, as it has an old 1911 style extractor.
Wolff has springs:

Sear spring:

Gun Parts Corp has some parts:

My dad had one of those that wouldn’t run on typical US commercial 9mm. It ran fine with more powerful NATO Spec ammo.
