Well, "suicide by cop" is not all that uncommon. Suicide by hunter?

or perhaps the Federal Witness Protection Program after the latest round of budget cuts?

Just a "Ruse" to get within bow range. Native Americans used that tactic all the time.

I give the guy props for creativity and wanting to get a humane kill.

Not a good idea; would not do it no matter how good it works.

Even if it works, seems like the risk exceeds the benefit unless you know you are the only hunter in range, and that could be kinda hard to know for as sure as I would want to know it.

BTW, here is my newest bow, the bottom bow on the rack. It's a traditional Korean bow, based on the Mongolian style. Sweet shooter! Top two are old Bear recurves from the 60s, and the middle two are modern longbows (2008).

Very nice! Took the daughter to see Brave a few weeks ago and of course she had to have a bow on the way home so we can "play archery. " Teaching her to shoot it has got me wanting a recurve bow badly.

I don't see the reasoning but then again, I am not a serious hunter.

NIce!

I have a couple Bears that were left in the garage at a house that I bought. My boys and I take them out once in a while.
