That's honestly pretty cool. Reminds me of the x300u + fixed front sight setups.

Tango Down was selling those, IIRC. Remember when Stephen Hilliard had that front sight that clamped on the x300 head?

I actually own one and it resides on a rifle full time, I think it's a neat concept. Unfortunately, the previous owner stripped out the aluminum threads on the mount but I had a gunsmith install a steel helicoil.
