I noticed at Glock.eu they have the Glock 26 MOS but its not available here. Has anyone heard if they are going to introduce it in the USA.
I don't have an answer, but I'm interested in any that you get. I have been tempted several times lately to order a Gen5 26 when I have found them in stock, but I keep holding out for the MOS to come to the USA.
I've jumped on the "RMR all the things!" bandwagon it seems.

I hear eventually, but no time soon given the crazy demand for current products.

I emailed Glock USA a few months ago when it first popped up, and they claimed they knew nothing about it. I’m sure it will be here eventually.

Thank you for that information. It is disappointing. I would be very interested in a 26 MOS but have exactly zero interest in a 43X MOS.

It is a hassle but you can send a 26 slide and have it milled for the mos system by C and H precision. I plan on doing that whenever I get another gen 5 g26. My other slide is currently being milled for an rmr at maple leaf because of GJM high praise.
I called Glock twice this year (2022) and was told both times, there are no plans, known-at-that-time, to bring the G26gen5MOS to the U.S.
Yet, I keep checking us.glock.com to see if someone has changed their mind on the issue.
I do have a G19gen5MOS already.
Should I want another handgun with optic, I may try a Shadow Systems MR920 product. I've been pondering and researching this brand for a couple of months, now.

They’ve been available in Europe for at least 2 years and some Glock LE sales reps have shown them to agencies here in the US.
If / when it will be introduced here ? Who knows.

My pusher got 2 today, let me fondle both and pick which one I wanted. They came in so recently that they haven’t even been logged in yet, so it will probably be Thursday before I actually get to take it home. USA gun, and interestingly enough, an AKAZ prefix (my G47 is a CAAS prefix).
I already have pretty much everything I need for my standard Glock setup: Apex trigger kit, Tango Down mag release and slide stop lever, green Holosun 509, and JMCK AIWB. The Holosun plate is on back order, SCD should be in this week, and now I just need to put in an order for Ameriglo BUIS.

.315 tritium front w/orange ring and .394 two-dot tritium rear with blacked-out rings. I had to buy the front and rear separately to get this combo. The GL-329 set is identical, just with white rings around the dots.
Best description is a lower 1/4 co-witnesses? Low enough that I don’t notice the irons when shooting the dot. I’ll take a pic after work tonight.

I just learned that there is at least one plate available, that allows mounting an ACRO P-1 onto a Glock MOS slide. Suddenly, I am thinking seriously about acquiring a G26 MOS. True, an ACRO is relatively large, but, the whole package remains relatively compact.

That is my understanding, and they are also offering an improved “claw” for the P2 similar to the one APEX offers for the Steiner.

I think the 509 really shines here, but the Acro isn’t objectively that much bigger. Back-to-back with my non-optic G19, the 26 is almost identical in overall height, with the reduced length of the grip shifted to the top of the gun, or towards the centerline when carrying AIWB (so it doesn’t really count). I have high hopes for this as a t-shirt optic gun for the AZ summer, and love how scalable it is with 10 rd. flush mags, 12 rd. +2 extensions, and ability to accept G19/17 mags as a spare.
Great setup
Thank you! The true test of a man’s genius is the extent to which he agrees with you… 😂
This is my standard Gee setup—Apex Action Enhancement Kit, Tango Down mag release and slide stop lever, and LTT SCD. My G47 has an Acro on an FCD plate vs. the 509 on a Holosun plate, and my G19s have a grip anchor, but otherwise the guns are identical. In the past I have struggled with low/left issues and tended to pattern much more than group, but this setup is the Glock easy button for me.
I prefer the orange front ring, and always black out the rings on my rears, so when I figured out I could get the exact setup I wanted by ordering a separate front and rear, it was a no-brainer. I’m able to ignore the irons when shooting through the optic unless I think about it (same with rifles—all my ARs have fixed BUIS and lower 1/3 co-witness—admittedly absolute co-witness is too busy for me).
In my appendix holster, the 509T is indistinguishable from a 507, where the Acro is much larger and prints accordingly.

In my personal case, I know that my astigmatic eyes like the ACRO’s dot, plus, I have an ACRO P-1 that is seeking a compatible pistol. Plus, the ACRO has a boxy profile, so, if it prints, may well appear to be a “civilian” electronic device, rather than something that looks like it belongs on a weapon. I’d like to try an ACRO on a G26.
For reference, I have an ACRO P-1 on a G19x. (Milled G45 slide.)

Supposedly, but it never saw the light of day at GT Distributors or Primary Arms. I guess I'll re-phrase the question for someone that might know: is Glock still skeptical that there is demand for the 26.5 here and are they going to shut off the supply? Is there any chance a greater quantity will make it here and more will go into Blue Label as well?

Not supposedly, I own one. I talked to our (large) blue label dealer and our Glock LE rep about these quite a bit, and last I heard, there are no plans to make the 26 MOS a regular offering.

I recently discovered that there's at least one plate on the market that enables mounting an ACRO P-1 onto a Glock MOS slide. This revelation has sparked my serious consideration of acquiring a G26 MOS. While it's true that the ACRO is relatively large, the overall package remains relatively compact.
There’s nothing compact about an ACRO on a 26MOS. Unless forced to carry an ACRO by policy, the EPS is probably a better choice. It’s actually compact and it has a larger window than the ACRO.
My local blue label dealer is still showing one in stock.

Regarding Acro plates on Glock MOS, I have experience with both the Aimpoint (B&T) plate, and Forward Controls/Tango Down. Both are good-to-go.
I’m hoping for the MOS version of the CBP G26…had one for a while at work before Sector made all of us turn them back in. That was a nice little blaster.

In my hands, no appreciable difference with training ammo even though I try to use hotter ammo for carry guns. Appreciable difference when shooting 124 +P HPs. No accuracy degradation unlike other aftermarket/comp combos I have. Importantly, no reliability issues with stock recoil spring. I've not found any downsides.

Bummer. As an EDC pistol it’s been great, and 500-round training sessions are comfortable. It’s an excellent all-around pistol for a plainclothes gig.

I've been content with my one G19gen5MOS with Holosun SCS. I suppose I don't really need to have a G26gen5 milled for an optic or put money towards a new Glock, optic, and possibly holster to add to my two non-optic G26 guns.

One difference that jumps out at me is no light rail on the 26 (did they ever resolve that?) so adding a light is a little more complicated.

You pretty much get the TLR-6, which is handy-ish on a 42/43 but seems a waste on a 26 when you can get a “varsity roster” light on a 19 or one of the sub lights on a 43X/48.

You think based on the light options, it puts the 19 above the 26? I'm looking for reliability first. I heard the 26 has been more reliable through generations.

The tlr-6HL is also out now, which is quite a bit better (at least, on paper) than the original. 300 lumens, 4250 candela as compared to 500/5k candela from the tlr7 sub.
It puts the light at least in a somewhat competitive position if you’re looking for a light on a gun like a g26.

Ceteris paribus, I think any reliability difference between the two is probably decided by the planetary alignment during production. It boils down to “necessary” features vs “nice to have “ features. But others choose more of a deep dive.
Not to muddy the waters, but a 19 chopped for 26 mags is still a pretty nice option in 2024.

The Glocks I’m sticking with are the ones that don’t hurt to shoot, namely the 26/27 and 45. I’ll possibly use a BL coupon for a 26.5 MOS at some point and do the same with a SCS MOS that is languishing on a 19.5.

I'd been awaiting a U.S. release of the G26gen5MOS for years after it was put onto the Euro-Glock-website.

Now, years later, that it's on the USA website,
https://us.glock.com/en/pistols/g26-gen5-mos
I'll get around to deciding on buying a 3rd G26 (the subject G26gen5MOS) as I've already got a G26gen3 and a G26gen5.
Although I've been carrying a G26gen3 or gen5 or G19gen5MOS (carrying this while I'm typing), I'm still not "sold" on carrying an optic-mounted everyday carry (EDC).
We'll see. If only Glock wasn't so wishy-washy about releasing the G26gen5MOS I'd have already bought one back when I bought the G19gen5MOS (2022) or even earlier.

To be honest, I just ended up placing an order for mine and had it delivered to a local FFL.
Glock has had a few 'select' guns lately which appear to be short term runs... G25/G28 come to mind. They list the G26 MOS in their catalog in a similar manner so I don't know how time limited this might be.
If you want one, just find the best dealer and have it shipped locally. Odds of finding one in a shop are probably pretty low.

I dont think I have bought a pistol since. The 26 MOS is just that good. Every time I think "I should buy a pistol" I have to think of whether it shoots better than the little 26, or conceals better than the little 26 or accepts all the glock stuff I already have.
The answer is basically always "it might...but not by enough to drop another 500+ bucks"
