I'm sure there's plenty of cartel stuff going on here but this one's interesting, seems to indicate more spillover from all the violence in Mexico. Hard to feel any sympathy for a guy dumb enough to rip off the Zetas for $5 million though.
We were supposed to travel to a wedding in Mexico later this year but I vetoed it. I'm just not comfortable going down there (blond haired white boys tend to stick out, though my wife and daughter could blend in fine.) At the end of the day I'm not even totally comfortable with my ability to handle a situation here, but unarmed, in a foreign country, possibly against military trained, heavily armed drug dealers? No thanks.
