Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were partners in both crime and love. Nearly 80 years after the lives of history’s most famous gangster couple ended in a hailstorm of bullets, it has been announced that the personal handguns found on their bodies will be sold to the highest bidder this September.

On hearing of the death of my brother, my father, Henry Barrow, went to Arcadia, Louisiana, to accompany the body of his son back to Dallas. Among Clyde’s personal effects given to my father was the watch described above. Yeah, would be cool to own either of those......but I'd rather own one of the BAR's.

I would rather have Frank Hamer's or Prentiss Oakley's firearms.

Remington Model 8 vs a BAR? I'm with Sean M. My dad always spoke highly of the Browning on the rare occasions that he recalled his experiences from WWII and Korea.

A bit off topic but this marker came up earlier today in a motorcycle "tag" thread (another forum).
It's not far from me...

There must be a fine line between being a motor bandit and preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse.

I recall seeing a similar picture from the FBI museum(IIRC) of the Dillinger Gang's weapons cache that was pretty cool, particularly, a 1911 in 38 Super that was modified into a machine pistol.

Gotta love the Whippet style shotgun.
