There is, allegedly, a camcorder video of me singing this karaoke. Allegedly.

I sincerely hope it no longer exists. If it ever did. Which it didn't. *cough*

Sad news. He was touring just a few years ago.

He helped to launch Tupac's career.

RIP.

Apparently a Tampa guy, this was on the local news tonight. Found dead in a hotel room, I understand. Sad.

Rest In Peace.

Due to an odd quirk of the way cable television arrived in rural areas, I bet I’ve seen the 1991 Chevy Chase / Dan Akroyd vehicle Nothing but Trouble approximately 400 times. Shock G’s performance was the only worthwhile part of this movie. Damn, the early 90’s were a very different place.

He’s a Bay Area icon, this one saddens me.

Now I really haz a sad. I graduated HS and college and got my first real job all in the 90s. It was a decade full of promise and potential for the future.

As for the movie, yes Shock G's performance was a great element, but I enjoyed the entire silly romp. No, it wasn't high art, but it was one of those flicks you could pick up anywhere along its run and enjoy the ludicrous story.

"Mah skunk!". :D

Oh, and Demi Moore was still hot back then.

Hopefully there's a Burger King bathroom and plenty of lumpy oatmeal wherever he's going.
