I bought this one (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08BFXKPDQ/), but it seems to barely help and I see that most of the ranchers and energy industry workers in the West or using some variant of what the exterior antenna looks like this (https://www.amazon.com/weBoost-470235-Booster-Trucker-Vehicle/dp/B07DJ7S46R/), but I'm not sure as to which exact booster they're using.

I haven't had to use cell phone boosters for several years.

Inductively coupling an antenna at GHz frequencies is a bit of an engineering challenge. Manufacturing consistency is very important to minimize signal loss. All that being said, I did look for an online guide to options, and ran across this article by PC Magazine on cell booster options, these days:

I use this WeBoost Drive 4G-M Cellular Signal Booster Kit in my service truck, and it works well.

Another vote for the we-boost - I had one in a work truck for a while and it helped but it wasn't remarkable. I had the version for semi trucks. Ran $500 or so if I remember right.
