View Full Version : Hosted images still displaying after deletion

So, I deleted a bunch of pics from my Flickr, Imgur, and photobucket accounts, but many of them still show up on this and other forums. any idea what's up?

A guess specific to P-F but when you link an image via URL there is an option to 'retrieve file and reference locally'. Pretty sure this pulls a copy into storage on the P-F server. I think there's a section in your user console here to manage images stored locally.

Correct, you can manage them via this link (https://pistol-forum.com/profile.php?do=editattachments) (I think this should work). If any Site Supporter is worried about their online footprint/screen name, I will assist no questions asked.

I never use that option when I post a hosted photo. If I upload an image through tapatalk, it gets attached differently, I think.

My flickr account is purged from all things guns/weapons. I don't get it. I cleared the cache as well

Above my pay grade once it gets beyond removing the images and clearing cache. Hopefully some of our systems people can help you out.

I don't see a picture. Maybe people who've already viewed it have it in their cache? I dunno, but I don't see the pic and the link you posted in the other post is dead for me.
