Saw this on FB Pistol Smith Terry Tussey passed a few weeks ago.

I recall reading about his work in the 80s and 90s. I believe he also did guns for Steven Seagal back in the day.

RIP. Talk about a small world. I met Terry Tussey several years ago while in Carson City, Nevada. I was visiting a friend who introduced me to Terry.

Terry did some quality work and was an old school pistol smith who did all of the work himself. His gunsmithing won all types of awards and accolades. Terry was an amazing man, because he had been in a very bad mountain bike accident in the early 2000s where he broke his neck and his back and was left paralyzed from the waist down. He spent a year in the hospital and rehab, but then returned to gunsmithing despite being confined to a wheelchair. He drove a custom van to his shop and wherever he needed to go and got around in a powered wheelchair.

Here is a picture from when I met Terry in 2016.

I am sorry to hear this. A friend owned one of his pistols, and it shot very well.

RIP, sir.

And I forgot to say that Terry Tussey was a hell of a nice guy.

This is quite sad news. Condolences to his family and friends.

There is a generation passing and a wealth of knowledge along with it. We are truly diminished.

Sad day.
I remember a gun of his from decades ago, it was that good.
What we would now call a carry comp on accurails.
