I’m looking at the Raven Concealment Systems Perun OWB Holster Glock 19. Good to go? Anybody using one? Just wondering since some of the others like Vedder, JK and etc are running $70+ and these are $40

The Perun is good to go.
I have one for a G19, one for G17, and one for G19 with TLR 7A.
I am happy with all three.
Yes. Perun is gtg.
I’ve had a few. They are inexpensive, ambidextrous, adjustable for cant, good retention, and high quality.

Jumping on the bandwagon - I have a 17-length that I use for concealed OWB under a suit jacket. I almost always carry a G26 in it (sometimes a G19). It doesn't hug the body quite as much as the Bravo Concealment BCA - but the BCA has about an acre of unnecessary material and rivets, etc.
I'm no longer a huge Raven fan since they just don't make much that aligns with how I carry, but for an inexpensive concealment OWB, the Perun is as good as anything I know of.

I have a Perun for a G19 with a TLR-7. It works okay. One thing I find slightly annoying is that it has developed a mild squeak. It doesn't do it all the time and isn't loud enough to be noticed by anyone around me.

They work well and you can use the blade tech IWB clips and run it IWB if you like. Both ways are pretty comfortable.

Hmm. The only reason I don’t have a Perun currently is I need a little less muzzle below the belt OWB, so I’m using a JMCK IWB3.
I didn’t know Blade Tech made an OWB like the Perun that ships with an IWB Kit.
Anybody have any intel on the B/T Total Eclipse, say, vs. the Perun?

Gotta say it looks nice.

We issue the Blade Tech eclipse at work with the 320. It's ok but Perun > Bladetech eclipse.
I believe the eclipse was around before the the Perun.

Gotcha. I don’t see a Eclipse for the G48 anyway, rats.
Be nice if I could find just the IWB Kit B/T sells and attach it to a Perun...but can’t seem to find that kit separately...

There are several places that sell belt clips and attachments. I googled holster maker and found some. I've bought some stuff from one of them but don't remember which one.

Blade tech sells that kit separately. I have a couple of them. You might have to reach out to their customer service and just let me know you need an IWB kit for your eclipse. Tell them you lost the IWB kit you had or something like that. It seems they don't have them on the website again, so I am not sure when it was removed.

I contacted B/T about selling the IWB conversion kits separately, will post back if I hear anything.

Is a 1/4” thick leather belt going to work with this holster?

I’m looking at the Raven Concealment Systems Perun OWB Holster Glock 19. Good to go? Anybody using one? Just wondering since some of the others like Vedder, JK and etc are running $70+ and these are $40With or without a light?
Here are my original thoughts on one using a Glock 19 and a TLR-7 light:

However, after seeing what happens with the holsters, during defensive tactics training, I would update that opinion, and say the retention is not adequate. The guns can, and often do, come out of those holsters during "fights." Not someone grabbing the gun, just coming out while two people are fighting.
However, it's a problem with every concealed carry holster I've tried with a light (and many for use with just a pistol). Designs that work great when used where the holster is designed to hold onto the front of the trigger gun, often work terribly when trying to hold onto the various lights out there.
I'm surprised with the advent of small lights, intended for use on concealed firearms (XC-1, TLR-6, TLR-7), rather than duty guns in duty rigs, with lights not originally designed for concealed carry (X200/300, TLR-1), that the light designers didn't get around to creating a notch near the bezel, that would give holster makers a place to have the light clip into securely. It's generally not a problem with large duty rigs, that have real retention devices, as they can be made to secure the light in different ways, such as holding onto the slide at the ejection port (ie, Safariland ALS). It's a huge problem with concealed carry holsters.
However, I will add, most people who haven't trained fighting with a gun in their holster, or actually had to do it in the real world, often keep their guns holsters that are way too "loose" for serious use. So I suppose holster makers, and light makers, don't have a huge incentive to fix the problem, as people are too willing to accept holsters that aren't adequate for holding onto the gun during a violent fight.

Without a light.
Thanks for your thoughtful response.
Is a 1/4” thick leather belt going to work with this holster?
FWIW: I carried a G19 in a RCS Perun on a Mitch Rosen Express belt for maybe 18 months. That belt (I still have it, just not the Perun) thickness measures approximately 0.240"-0.245". I think you are gtg with a 1/4" belt.
However, after seeing what happens with the holsters, during defensive tactics training, I would update that opinion, and say the retention is not adequate. The late Paul Gomez - Paraphrasing - "The advantage of kydex is it's fast. The disadvantage of kydex is it's fast, once the gun starts moving, it keeps moving. Leather is much more forgiving."

Edit to add: With a mounted light, I'd probably use a retention holster.

With all due respect to the late Mr. Gomez, that doesn't make much sense. Any difference in length of time is negligible, given human reaction times (see John Boyd's "OODA loop"), ie the amount of time you will take realizing you need to defend your gun from a grab and actually do so, vs the hundredths of second difference between a leather holster, or kydex holster, won't make the difference.
What you need is a holster where your gun only comes out with a strong, very deliberate, pull of the gun. If you want the holster itself to protect from a deliberate grab, leather v. kydex is not the answer, you will need real active retention devices. Meaning going beyond the typical "open top" concealment holster, whether kydex or leather.
I can't speak for Mr. Gomez, but my experience with kydex and leather holsters, is there is about an 1/8" - 1/4" of travel for retention with a kydex holster, after which point, the gun pretty much jumps out of the holster. Anything (an elbow, arm chair, seat belt, an opponent, etc.) moving the gun that short distance can cause the gun to come out of the holster.
A leather holster in contrast, has a much longer distance of retention, perhaps over an inch of travel within the holster and even when the gun passes that distance it still has some friction holding the gun and the gun doesn't seem to jump out of the holster as it does with kydex.

I have one for a G21 with light. Retention is almost too good.
