Out of curiosity, what's the rationale behind 1.75"?

Out of curiosity, what's the rationale behind 1.75"?

1.75" is pretty standard for this type of configuration. The Type 13 webbing makes for a good duty belt and that is the width it comes in (technically 1 23/32") Attachments meant for 2" belts will fit fine on the 1.75" belts and with all of the new types of attachments and hangers the width of the belt is not of much consequence. A little less bulk is always nice too.

Is there a rough eta on the underbelts being restocked? My new gig requires me to go back and forth on short notice between covert and tactical, and only needing one belt would be perfect. Thanks.

They must have sold out completely, as of this morning still the whole product shows out of stock on the site. I have other underbelts that I can use, but I know the quality will be that much better with the MM belt.

We are working on getting the underbelt and the duty belts restocked. We did sell out of both belts and are currently waiting on materials to arrive. We are hoping that we will have them back on the site within the next two weeks. We will send out a restock notice to those on our mailing list if you are not currently signed up you can do so on the homepage of our site.

An underbelt in coyote would go well with my war belt. (Not that my underbelt in black doesn't work in this role, but there's room in my closet for another.)

The Mastermind Underbelt will only be available in black. Our underbelt utilizes an extremely specialized combined hook and loop material that has both hook and loop on the same face and is only manufactured in black.

Thanks for the order! This second run of underbelts sold out much faster than we anticipated and we are rushing another material order to get them back in stock. We are hopeful that we will be able to get them back on the site sometime early this week.

We are happy you were able to grab one this time around. We ordered a large amount of material to make these so we are hopeful they will stay in stock longer than the first two runs. Thanks again for the support we appreciate it very much!

How thick is the Underbelt compared to the Specialist Pro? Also, is your specialized Hook and Loop prone to snagging clothes?

I've been very impressed with the Specialist Pro I bought and am looking for a replacement for the inner belt I have.

Thanks for the support, we appreciate it and are happy to hear your Specialist is working for you. The Under-belt is similar in thickness to the Specialist belt, it is a little bit thicker but nothing too significant. The Underbelt when being worn as a standalone will be a little more snag prone and a little tougher on belt loops than a standard Specialist since the material has hook and loop incorporated into one fastener, but it isn't as tough on clothing as hook fastener is.

I hope that helps.

Does the underbelt adhere to the common gaming belts, CRspeed, AA etc...

Not a AA/CR answer but mine works very well w/ a Safariland rigid belt in USPSA & 3G, perhaps some other gamers will stroll by to address those specifically.

I also wear the under belt as my every day EDC belt and as a USPSA under belt.

The Mastermind Underbelt will work with any outer belt and can stick to both hook or loop lined belts.
