M&P 45 FS Front Sight Height

Im looking to replace the stock front sight with a fiber optic. My question is what is the proper height for the 4.5" barrel the FS 45 has? I see the 4.25" gun have .160 sights and the 5" guns use .190.

The gun shop near me has a Novak .170 that they will install. I'm afraid this will lower the POI.

My mid-size M&P 45 shoots low. I prefer POA=POI but I have been unable to find a shorter tritium front sight that will fix this issue. Any suggestions?

I heard from Novak today. This is what they said:

"When we designed the sights for the M&P we came up with the sight height then when S&W started making the sights they lowered the front and rear height. We have no reasons why they did it. But our front would make your gun shoot a little lower with your factory rear. Thanks
