I just realized that SIG doesn't offer an optical (RMR type) P320 in any caliber larger than 9mm. I was going to have my .357 P320 Compact slide cut for an RMR but now I'm wondering if I should. Has anybody ever done a .357 or 40 S&W slide upgrade for RMR? Gray Ghost also specifically lists their slides as 9mm only.

Dang it. I like 357 SIG.

Have you shot a gun with a red dot before? Anything that helps keep the dock in the window during the recall cycle is a big advantage.

If I were going to run a P320 in 357 sig with a dot I would probably want a comp as well. A 9 mm comp should be very effective with 357 sig. Parker Mountain Machine (PMM) Makes a comp for the P320 compact slide which will make it the same length as the standard full-size P320. This makes finding holsters much easier.

Cutting a 320 slide should be the same whether 9/40/357. I believe PMM also does optics cuts but my top choices if it were my gun would probably be Mark Housel at L&M Precision or Buck Holly at C&H precision weapons systems.
