So, ACW is bringing us two 2011 models, with the availability of being machined for a red dot.
I wonder who is supplying the magazines?

It's, it's beautiful.
Maybe this is the 2011 I have been waiting for.

I asked Rob (of Alchemy) about the magazines, but I suspect they are the Para or Caspian pattern.

Didn't see this.

Doesn't exist.

I've never heard of this company, seems like hot garbage.

Ah shit this is gonna cost me money isn't it?

This is pretty damn tempting.
I know that ACW will make it right if there is an issue.

Gonna have to check the gun safe tonight, see who might be happy at a new home.
Maybe take a a walk through the pens tonight, see which horse needs new surroundings.

Just throw $500 at it now, worry about the rest next year!:D

I'm gonna let you guinea pig it - since I don't know what my employment status will be in 8-months.

The fact that it is ACW, I'm one mouse click away from "Oh, f*ck yeah".
Where's Grey at? He needs one of these for larping around the basement.;)

I really like the Prime and the Classic Carry. ACW just makes good looking guns.

The single stack 45 Quantico looks good too.

Somebody buy the 9mm double stack and let us know how it runs.

I'm tempted to say - DO IT.

But I want to know whose mags it uses first, looking forward to hearing what Rob tells farscott.

Oh and Grey can't get one of these for LARPing right now...because his ammo shelf is about to fall over...Ha...ammo 'shelf'. Look it doesn't count if you don't need a separate truck to move it all.:eek:

Ammo shelf? Shelf? That's cute. He must be new to this.;)

It's just 1 shelf out of a bunch of shelves... I need to start talking about ammo in terms of pounds rather than rounds.

I looked at the ACW 2011, if it was optic ready I probably would of thrown money at it...

I asked alchemy about their optic mount for the quantico, and they are in the process of building one, so no pics yet. They did send me a picture of a Cabot, but it sounds like there could still be changes.

I think it’s a hard choice either way, as it looks so good as pictured on their website.

The Quantico Hi Cap will use STI magazines per Rob of Alchemy.

Anyone know what grip module they are using?

I'd bet good money it's using regular STI/MBX magazines, not Para or Caspian ones. Looks like an STI-type separate grip/frame. Para and Caspian had the frame and grip as one piece with side panels.

Grip module looks like an older STI one, possibly reverse engineered or something.

This thing has been haunting by dreams for weeks. This may well be my first venture into 1911s, I just need to get a few raises first!

Hopefully someone on here will be posting a review when they get theirs.

So per the website they are a division of Cabot Guns. Scroll to the very bottom of the page. What’s the story on that/them?

If it's anything like the single stack ACW 9mm I have, it'll probably be a very excellent pistol
