Gun Jesus shot one at a backup gun match.

No surprises.

In before the “Mah Taurus has never malfunctioned on me” remarks.

My favorite part about all this is that he's shooting it left handed

Haha that was excellent.

Wise man say - gun cannot malfunction if never fired! :D

Wow, not even up to Sex Panther stats. More like, 30% of the time, it works every time. The only thing I really want to know is where he found one. I think I've seen two in gun shops.

Pretty telling that he’d rather shoot a hi-point, and that it actually worked.

Saw my first one a few weeks back in a pawn/gun shop case.

I didn't ask to handle it, which I almost always do with well-known guns I've never encountered.

You have to respect GJ's clean language using the Taurus. But I don't think I've ever seen him chuck a gun in the trash. That's pretty harsh for Ian.

I'm not sure which is worse, this, or Karl from sister channel InRange trying to hit anything with that .22mag volleyfire revolver thing. At least that fired reliably.

A few minutes in, Karl summons the ghost of Marvin Fackler for a terminal ballistics consult. That's some nerdcore gun humor.

How have I not seen the "Front Toward Enemy" mask until now?

"Yeet me!"

And having something worse than a COP .357 has got to be a new low.

Perhaps you're doing the smart thing and limiting your media exposure for the time being? Then again, I am and I still knew about them...

Ian's Calico videos are quite intresting.

I might send it to a distant relative who is in with Big Green.

I wonder what would have happened if he had cleaned and oiled it first. You know, something to take a little of the Taurus Owner out of the Taurus. Meh, I’ve lost interest already.

That is a fair point. I am sure the manual recommends that practice even though I have not looked at it. My LGS has/had a Curve, but I never looked at it as I am set for pistols with no sights (Seecamp LWS 32).

Kirsten Joy Weiss did a great review at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BxF3QWmLUI She showed a dead trigger issue but her sample cycled fine if she avoided creating the dead trigger.

I totally forgot about these guns until I saw this thread. Wow...

I think I need to renew my Patreon support of their channels now.

For a while now, I've been thinking about a "lazy gun" for around the house, and have been watching for LCPs to be in stock anywhere I might buy. Simultaneously, my wife has discussed having a small pistol that she MIGHT carry, occasionally, when she felt like she needed it. I showed her the LCP, and she thought it might be OK.

Yesterday, my better half was sitting next to me while I watched the linked video. This morning, I mentioned again thinking about getting a small pistol for around the house, and she said "fine, as long as it's not that Taurus!"
