I just signed up for a membership this week. Haven’t done much but download the free documents/articles listed.

I was hoping I’d find a hidden horde of Colt hammer shrouds, so I could buy one for my Cobra.

Fun.

I was part of the FB group. The derp was too strong.

Who made the holster?

Side guard quick clip and I requested a lower ride. Cylinder below belt line. Comfort and disappears.

I have the same holster with the same adjustments. It just works.

Thanks for the tip guys. I’ve been looking for something just like this recently. I’ll be giving them a call.

I see you're being polite. I was going to say it is literally a sea of bullshit with few lighthouses available.

The past few weeks it's changed. Honestly seems more and more like an infomercial for the pay site.

They have a FB group as well.

I'm torn as there is some good info and great old guns but the Derp and Fudd Lore is thick.

Thanks for translating “derp” for an old fart.

Maybe so, but it seems that they're still taking orders for the DS hammer shroud.

An email I got from them today stated they will continue to sell merchandise until they are sold out of existing stock.

Has anyone bought one of their Colt DS hammer shrouds?

I bought one of the hammer shrouds before anyone was with roscoe.

I bought an old cobra drilled and tapped but without a shroud. The shroud arrived without drama. The fit to the frame was good and needed minor adjustments. The screws were a problem but I found them locally and had to make them fit. If I had looked online I may have found screws that fit without reshaping.

The reproduction shrouds are more square in shape as opposed to the more rounded or blended colt shrouds. The shroud only added one ounce of weight. Shooting the old cobra with service stocks and +p ammo drove the rear of the shroud into the web of my hand but non+p and wadcutters are no problem. Different grips, different hand size may not have this issue.

I would rather have a colt hammer shroud but I’m still glad I got the reproduced shroud.

Hope this helps.

I was very happy with them. Too bad petty differences ruined it.

Farewell......

Yep. Just got two in the mail. They a a bit snug on newer guns (80s vintage), but seem to fit well on older ones.

This is where Michael is moving to, FYI:

Pretty cool name; I prefer it to the old domain. I’d actually hang out at a club called snub noir.

Thanks.
I feel terrible about everything that happened.
