real world defense stories with ballistic data

Hi!
Although some may cringe, I love reading the self defense accounts in the old Sanow/Marshall books. Just a few facts what happened, maybe what mistakes were made, and then how the ammo performed (expansion/penetration). I don't need to buy their theorys to find value in that. Does anybody offer similar work today? thanks!

I would put zero credibility in those stories/

Many of the police agencies who M&S attributed the shootings to responded that they never provided M&S any information on the shootings and the shootings that M&S attributed to them did not match any of the department's shootings or that M&S misrepresented the shootings that the department had.
