Let’s see, the last thing pistol related by Beretta, that was ten years in the making, was a dovetailed front sight. I bet bigger — a new open and limited gun design that incorporates ergonomic changes like a higher beavertail and longer grip.

The teaser graphics are storm themed. So, I’d guess it’s gonna be some kind of PX4. Or maybe another variant of the CX4?

If I was gonna have more PX4 in my life, I’d be interested in...

-A single stack PX4c
-A .45 PX4c (Which I heard they actually designed; it’s referenced in the compact manual)
-A PX4c with a subcompact lower
-A steel framed PX4c

My guess? It’s gonna be a PX4 with optics. Not my thing, but I know a lot of people love them.

Also... I think the PX4 compact was released in 2011. So, 10 years or so.

-A single stack PX4c

Shocking how only Springfield has entered the DA/SA single stack market. I wouldn't mind getting a longslide PX4 single stack..

I saw a video of a cx4 on YouTube from 5 months ago with super small changes from the normal cx4, so my guess is px4. Which sucks since I bought a compact not very long ago and spent decent chunk of change turning it into a ltt. Although if taller sights just become available so I can get the optic cut I would be happy enough.

That’s where I saw it initially. And... Facebook has deemed my post “most relevant.” I feel vindicated.

Or maybe it just says that cuzz I posted it? Who the F knows how Facebook works.

They read our PDW thread and are getting into the game with a CX300 BLK.

9x21 and 9x23 so you can actually shoot it during the ammo drought.

As someone else mentioned... it would be interesting to see another contender besides the Xde. Nothing against the Xde—tried it. Just didn’t fit me.

If they were gonna have a DA/SA single stack, I feel like the PX4 line would be the place for it. Rotating barrel or not.

It’s only disappointing if you don’t already subscribe to their emails. If you did, you’d have known that Beretta is primarily a clothing company that occasionally sells gun stuff.

I would be angry if not for the high quality troll by Beretta. I don't get how clothing is more profitable for them, who the heck is buying their clothing line?

Word. I bought a few of their T-shirts. Bought a pair of jeans which didn't fit. Their jackets and stuff look neat. But I never see their products at, like, Dick's or Field & Stream, etc. Not sure about REI. And I feel like that's where you need to be to really get an outdoor clothing brand out there? I guess they actually have their own retail stores in some locations.

I do think Beretta is a cool brand, overall. I'd buy more of their stuff, but ordering clothes online is always kind of a crap shoot.

And don't get me wrong... I'm still annoyed this thing wasn't a new PX4.

I know a guy. He was known at one time for Prada shoes that matched his Ferrari. In spite of that, actually a cool, nice, down to earth guy. When he took his kid shotgunning, they had Beretta clothes.

That right there^^^ is the key.. If it wasn’t for Ernest Langdon, I doubt that Beretta pistols would have the following they do today.. Beretta, on their own would’ve never came out with the innovations that Ernest has.

Several clay target operations around the country sell Beretta clothing in their pro shops. Go to South Dakota and every retail shop in Pierre or Aberdeen sells a shit ton of Beretta clothing to the pheasant hunters. Been to several high end pheasant hunting lodges that sell Beretta clothing with their logo embroidered on it. I'm sure they end up selling stuff online to people who bought something in a pro shop.

I don't know who is buying their clothes, but I did a class with JJ Racaza last year after he joined Beretta, and he was well kitted out in their clothing. The weather conditions varied from hot to windy and showers, and his attire looked great the whole time. ;)

I wouldn't pay list for any of their clothes, but I wouldn't be surprised to see this stuff heavily discounted during the holiday season...

Part of the reason is, clothing is much easier to import to the U.S. (and anywhere else) than firearms are. And no doubt there’s a significant markup on clothing.. I’m guessing they buy from manufacturers in China, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, etc, for peanuts, and turn around and tack on $200 or whatever they think they can get away with... I remember reading an article a few years ago about this, one of the Beretta family members was wanting to ditch the firearms side of the family business, and just sell clothing, as he was figuring it was more profitable..

Thats so bizarre to me, who would want a piece of beretta clothing if not to associate it with their firearms? Hikers, campers, athletes are shopping at rei and sport stores for their gear. I dont think anyone not involved with firearms is buying a wicking shirt from beretta vs the outdoor clothing companies.

I hear you, but like all businesses that sell clothing, they know just how much they'll sell at retail and at each discount level. In normal times, clothing is far more profitable and easier to sell than guns.
