We lost a great Patriot today:

Herman Cain — the maverick American business czar and Republican presidential candidate who campaigned for a sweeping tax reform plan called 9-9-9 — died Thursday morning after a monthlong battle with the coronavirus. He was 74.

Damn. He was one of the good guys. I’ll never forget his 999 plan. It was just straight up genius out of the box thinking. I don’t know if the numbers were right but the concept was genius IMO.

I had every intention of voting for Mr. Cain when he was a potential candidate, really enjoyed his times hosting radio shows, too. RIP.

Same here. I remember listening to him on WSB Radio in Atlanta. It was a shame when he was forced to drop out of the primary race. He was articulate and ran an issues-based campaign. He had both business experience and government roles, including working for the Federal Reserve.

Just watched a documentary with him in it. Good man. Hope he’s in a better place now.

Left coast media seems almost to be gloating at the thought that he may have contracted covid at Trump's Tulsa rally.

Rest in peace. I can't help but think being an outspoken black Republican is harder than being an outspoken black Democrat. I know that my father in law would have an easier time being a Hispanic Democrat rather than being a Hispanic Republican, but he is sticking to his guns.

By virtue of Cain's actions, character and accomplishments his life mattered! RIP.
