“One of the members of the NFAC spoke to throngs of protesters and said “we had a little accident, it happens,” the reporter said.“

Where's my GunDerp bingo card when I need it?

AR with folded down sights? Check. Tapco'd out SKS? Check. Someone un-ironically wearing an actual bandolier of cartridges?

BINGO!

The leader said today they are coming back in four weeks to burn the city down.

Also said something about they are going to start "arresting cops."

Whatever.

Oh, that's just nifty. That's the kind of guy that muzzle-sweeps everyone at a range and then gets pissed off when he gets kicked off of the range.

I think that they need to drop the 'N' from their group's acronym.

Shots fired as militias face off in Louisville amid Breonna Taylor protests

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/shots-fired-as-militias-face-off-in-louisville-amid-breonna-taylor-protests

Shots were fired as two opposing militias faced off on Saturday in Louisville, Kentucky.

The incident happened as NFAC (Not F---ing Around Coalition), an Atlanta-based black militia, gathered in the city for a protest to demand justice for Breonna Taylor and was met by members of a far-right militia group rallying support for a counterprotest. Three NFAC demonstrators were shot when someone's gun discharged, according to the Courier-Journal.

The victims, none of whom were in critical condition, were taken to University of Louisville Hospital.

So openly declaring in a public forum that they plan to commit multiple felonies, then? Seems like a questionable life choice.

Maybe they should carry with an empty chamber.

Exactly what I was thinking.

I know empty chamber carry is frowned upon as a "tactical" decision, but let's face it, many folks shouldn't do anything else, as this incident shows. :)

As long as you are cosplaying with bandoleers, why not Airsoft? More intimidating than a FF incident. Or heck, go full Mall Ninja and get katanas (not too sharp) and nunchaku(practice before swinging those suckers, hitting yourself in the face looks bad too).

So I guess they are setting up jails? But where will they be if the city is being burned down?

And are they "arresting" the firefighters too?

At the very least I hope they know they better bring their own medics when they are going full-bore insurgency. There may be a shortage of first responders to help them at that point.

A name change to "FAC" has already been suggested in-thread, but I say they just go to "F," if they change the "ing" to "ed."

Or....THGTCSS. "The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight"

Remember comrades, a revolution is not a cosplay or a LARP! Or something like that....

Me thinks Louisville is trying to compete with Chicago on the number of black on black shootings this weekend. Good luck, my brothers, Chicago averages double digits each weekend.

I suggest Pink and Striped polos with inoperable Brycos and unloaded AR-15s for demonstrations.

Couldn't resist. It is inevitable with lots of folks toting rifles around we will see trouble. Look at Austin.

Independent of the group identity, guy walks towards you with muzzle down - which can be quickly brought to bear - that defensible as a shoot? The jury will tell us.

Guess they are the only ones who are professional enough to carry guns???

Odd that the systemic racist police and EMS were called to help out.

Hmmm did the cops notice the AR pistol with a VFG or was that from another pro outfit???

The leader of these assclowns is in some shit.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The head of a self-proclaimed militia who protested in Louisville with hundreds of armed followers has been arrested, WAVE 3 News Troubleshooters have learned.

John Fitzgerald Johnson, or “Grandmaster Jay,” was booked into a local facility on federal charges. A statement from the Department of Justice indicated that Johnson, who lives in the Cincinnati suburb of West Chester, was arrested Thursday and appeared before a federal judge in Louisville on Thursday afternoon.

Multiple sources confirmed Johnson was charged for allegedly pointing a long gun at federal agents and Louisville Metro Police Department officers.

He will probably get crowd-sourced bailed out and have his legal fees paid.

According to the report, "The incident happened during a day of protests in September." So why did it take this long to charge him and arrest him? I have my suspicion that they did not want to do anything when things were more heated *and* before the election that might lead to violence.

Here is the picture of him doing so according to the news reports. He has the gun pointed upward at what is likely a high window in a building or the top of a structure. I suspect that his lawyers will claim that he did not realize the person he was pointing the gun at was a federal agent and thought it was a possible sniper .

Not to say they won't try that excuse, but from my VERY inexpert view, I would imagine there's no quicker way to get shot than to point a gun at a "possible sniper."

We've had a few of these delayed arrests, one for a very similar circumstance. Especially with out-of-towners it's sometimes a more time consuming process to identify them. Social media warrants take awhile to return, and if that leads to more warrants that lengthens the process. So while I know nothing about this particular case, election times probably weren't a role. Waiting until he was alone and away from a larged armed crowd probably was.

Because for reasons like those BBI mentioned real investigations aren’t wrapped up in 60 minutes minus commercials.

Identifying people off video takes time. Obtaining, serving and getting responses from social media and telecommunications companies takes time. If it is not an imminent threat to life case like a murder or a kidnapping it can take a month or more to get a return on a subpoena or search warrant.

Most federal grand juries only sit twice a month, if they are able to sit due to COVID issues.

Also sometimes additional information to overcome issues like the potential defense you raised isn’t developed until well after the fact. Whether a witness coming forward or an incriminating communication being discovered.

Sorry to be redundant but this came up in another thread and it’s equivalent to “why don’t you just shoot the gun out of their hand.”
