It is cool, but if I recall correctly, synthetic (polyester) masks are not supposed to be particularly effective in regard to protection...if that's what its intended use is. I believe they also alluded to its retaining the little beasties moreso than cotton as well.

Tom's a friend and I don't want to cut into sales, but if it's going to be used for the virus, it may be worth considering. Perhaps someone with more knowledge on the topic can jump in and provide further info.

They're literally only good at meeting the mandated face covering requirements. They won't stop even a strong sneeze. They're pretty cool for wind burn and cutting breath juuuust enough inside a helmet though.
