View Full Version : Embedded Youtube Videos Not Working?

This just started today. Clicking on embedded videos yields an error message and a recommendation to try again later. When I go to Youtube directly I have no problems, but also I'm not trying the same videos. Is Youtube messing with P-F, or is it the videos, or am I holding my mouth wrong when I click on them?

The embedded video in LittleLebowski's post works fine for me. (Firefox and Windows 10 - I can check Firefox and Linux later if that would help any.)

FWIW, the embedded video in LL's post works fine with Chrome and Firefox on Linux (Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS).

FWIW I've noticed embedded Youtube videos not working on multiple sites, so whatever the problem is appears to be on Youtube's side.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Youtube blacklisting gun websites.

Well I did notice it on ARFCOM, but also on another site that's not related to guns at all, so I don't think that's it.

FWIW we have been seeing at least regional instability and low connection speeds intermittently, since at least Friday last week, with Internet both on corporate and home circuits. I suspect the surge in telecommuting and Internet entertainment use is putting pressure on the Internet backbones and causing some issues.

Since posting that screen shot, it's been a crap shoot with the embedded videos here, Some work, some error out. I'm seeing these same results on other sites with embedded youtube- Win 10, Firefox.
