Applegate Fairbairn grip repair or replacement

The synthetic grips on my A/F Smatchet made by Boker are cracked. I also have a Blackjack A/F commando knife that I would like to replace the grip. Any suggestions on material or somebody to install them ?

Micarta is what I would go with. If you can easily remove the original scales, I imagine any competent grip or scale maker can make you a near identical set.

Zulu Bravo Kydex, despite the name he does quite a bit of knife customization work and I've seen him do custom scales/customize scales on many blades.

BGM Knives is a young guy out of Upstate New York who, while still doing his own designs and work, is also doing customization work to supplement business, you could also try him.
