I have a Gen4 G17 that chipped a barrel lug. It still runs, but I'd like to replace the stock barrel.

Are Gen 3 and Gen 4 barrels interchangeable? Can anyone provide a concrete answer?

I've read the RSA cutout is shallower on the Gen 3 barrels, but can't find a seperate part number for a Gen 4 barrel.

I run a non specific Lone Wolf barrel in my Gen 4 G17 with no problems at all.

Thanks. I'm mainly concerned with stock Glock barrels.

How the heck did you manage to chip a lug on a gun that new?

I would call Glock and see if they'll replace the barrel.

Unknown. Shot ~22,000 rounds, this was the result.

Gun still runs and is accurate, mostly replacing it for piece of mind.

I really want to know the answer on this one. Planning to get a KKM barrel (3rd gen, no 4th gen yet) to be placed on a 4th gen glock.
