Travel Insurance

I'm planning a trip to Africa. I haven't traveled internationally for a while. I want coverage for trip cancellation/interruption; theft; medical and evacuation. When I went 6 years ago, I used Travel Guard and Global Rescue. Thankfully I didn't have to make any claims. Anything better?

Don't some of the big credit cards offer travel insurance if you pay with their card?
