Disgusting.

But he will win again.

How about the future presidential candidate Cuomo helping out recently at an accident on the BQE? I read somewhere somebody said that if they were the victim and they realized an untrained Cuomo was trying to extricate them from a wreck they would have respectfully declined his help and waited for the trained professionals...

If that is actually real, that is among the most shameful deeds I have ever witnessed. He should be tarred and feathered and run out of NY, hell, the USA on a rail for such an unconscionable act.

If it's not real, the person who created it should suffer the same suggested fate.

ETA:

I guess it's true. It's hard to imagine anyone so oblivious, callous, and self-serving.

It's staggering, isn't it? Just repulsive.

Your assessment of Cuomo's character is also an apt summation of the very nature of the Liberal/Progressive/Socialist-Democrat mind we see so much of these days. They are—for all practical purposes—one and the same.

Utterly so.

Clearly, Cuomo is completely lacking in self-awareness.

Slightly surprised we don't see him holding a narcisistick in the self promo photo.

Agreed. The newly-in-power Democrats in my state are moving swiftly to criminalize online criticism of them.

Unbelievable, LL. So now, pointing out that Northam is a bigot for wearing ''black face'' is a prohibited act. Nothing like protecting racists from their own stupidity and the wrath of those they'd so thoughtlessly oppress.

Even more alarming in the link that you've provided is the proposed legislation:

1.) Making Electoral College Votes Go to the Popular Vote Winner – SB 399: Enters Virginia into an interstate compact known as the Agreement Among the States to Elect the President by National Popular Vote. Under the compact, Virginia agrees to award its electoral votes to the presidential ticket that receives the most popular votes in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

2.) Voting Rights for Felons – SJ 14: Authorizes the General Assembly to provide by general law for the restoration of civil rights for persons convicted of a felony.

3.) Doubling the Governor’s Term Limit – SJ 6: Permits a Governor elected in 2025 and thereafter to succeed himself in office. The amendment allows two four-year terms (either in succession or not in succession) but prohibits election to a third term. Service for more than two years of a partial term counts as service for one term.

Evidently the Democrats are now looking to recreate their own little Machtergreifung seeing as they are now treating the state as their own Weimar Republic.

Any elected official voting in favor of this blatantly unconstitutional violation of 1A is a traitor to their oath.

Tagging the Vatican? Arlington National Cemetery? The Tomb of the Unknowns?

In a certain timeline, those were torn down anyway to make room for statues of Cuomo himself, 'the squad,' and other state heroes of the Global Democratic Parties of the United State.

In 1983 I spent Christmas in London. I sought out and frequented working class pubs. Talking with the man in the street revealed that citizens had to be careful about comments made. Questioning immigration policies and making observations about their outcome could result in undue attention. That was one example. As a joke one guy said we can still criticize the Irish. The disturbing part is that there seemed to be constraints on talking about stuff.

Having worked government type jobs for about 35 years, I may hold the PF record for the number of sessions aimed at cultural and racial and gender sensitivity. Yes, there were questions not to be raised. Not being a dummy, I knew not to be one to pose difficult questions. Instead, I held hands and sung as we formed circles.

Once my office mate and I were punished for joking around about a sensitive subject. She is a lesbian. I'm an old straight white guy. She asked me if I had ever had sex with a man. I replied that I fucked a man 200 times and didn't like it. She jumped up and yelled, "Once a cocksucker, always a cocksucker!" We had to report to HR. I decided on strategy and put in writing that I had fucked a man 200 times and didn't like it. She held to her statement. We refused to say anything further and told HR to write a response. This conundrum torqued their 8th grade education. Nothing ever came of it. My point is that someone else heard our private conversation and reported us to authorities.

I have no doubt he would do so if he could. Not a single doubt.

Well, he could try. But:

(1) Only like 10-15% of owners complied with the SAFE Act. And the rest of us still have shitloads of guns.

(2) In New York, the trains do not run on time.

Virtue signalling
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Virtue signalling is a pejorative neologism for the conspicuous expression of moral values.[1][2] The origin of the term is often credited to journalist James Bartholomew from an article in The Spectator in 2015.[3]

Synonym: feigned righteousness aka Cuomoism, douchebaggery

Unless it has changed, my understanding it's closer to 5%, ditto in CT.

This is exactly why I send money and resources to California, New York, New Jersey. Virginia and other states facing oppressive regimes.

Because that is precisely what they show themselves to be.
