S&W 43c replacement front sight

I have a S&W 43c but have never shot the XS front sights well at all. It also hits low with most ammo.
Has anyone replaced one with a Dawson Precision Fiber optic front or something similar?

It's a pinned front sight, so it should be easy to replace. I measured mine at .145" tall. You would need one shorter if your gun shoots low. I'd check Dawson's perfect impact sights. They list a .145 and a .110 but I think they might custom make others.

My 43c hits behind the dot. I use a drive the dot sight picture and it works okay for me.

Mine measures about .150, I have to raise the dot up quite a bit to get hits where i want them to go.
