DLC, classic styled wood grips, brass bead FS, standard hammer:

Possibly the best looking one so far, IMHO.

While cool in a retro kind of way, those style grips are awkward as hell to shoot IMO.

Yep, but it could single-handedly (no pun intended) bring back the Tyler T-Grip.

That barrel looks wonky

I don’t know if it pulls it off or not but I like it. Just add grip adapter.

Like Highthwak’s Series 70; some retro some modern touches.

They still need to do the correct variant of this: ALLOY frame, +P rated, DAO, bobbed hammer, finish choices.

Agreed. My night Cobra is one of my all-time favorite revolvers; the only thing that would make it better is if I had two of them, and one was alloy-framed.

Seconded. I would buy one if available and reasonably priced and possibly a steel frame one as a practice gun.

Brass bead front sight?

I love this thing.

I will still maintain that the trigger guard colt is using is fucked up like a football bat.

But at least they tried to make a retro cool gun. I have a soft spot in my heart for a plain jane looking gat that isn't actually as plain as you would think.

Now if someone would just post up a pic of these grips on their bobbed hammer Night Cobra.

If there's and after market grip that will fit this, and doesn't look like a bull's scrotum, I will replace the 642 I recently got with one of these.

Does anybody know why they put that ugly trigger guard on these colts?

It may not look stylish, but the new Cobra trigger guard gives ample space for use with gloves compared to similar revolvers.

It's enlarged towards the front, something that folks requested, because snubs are frequently carried in coat pockets in the winter, when you're wearing gloves.

They also subtlety reshaped the rear portion and by kind of stretching it like they did, gave plenty of clearance, without it extending as far downward and backwards as the old guns. This reduces the tendency to smash the middle and ring finger knuckles. And I can tell you, without a grip adapter or grip that fills in the space behind the trigger guard the old Colts beat the hell out of your middle and ring fingers. Even with a grip adapter you sometimes get it hit.
