The whole thing was great. I was happy that they were able to successfully bring back all the bits that I grew up on. Normally going back to the well like that after so long doesn't work out so good, but Murphy nailed them all.
Apparently Cosby wasn't happy about Eddie's joke in the open, but screw him.

The same Bill Cosby I recently heard described as potentially one of the worst serial rapists in US history?

Yeah fuck that guy.

Last fall, I posted in another thread that I met the guy (https://pistol-forum.com/showthread.php?22680-I-miss-music-like-this&p=816483&viewfull=1#post816483)who sang Sixteen Candles. Really nice guy. When he came back to pick up his license plate, he even gave me an autographed photo. Kind of out of no where, he brings up knowing Cosby from years back and that it was no secret that he was the way he was. I don't believe there was any love lost, either.

There have been 45 yrs of SNL. Perhaps there was an episode as good. I cannot recall one better.

“That’s some evil backwards devil talk”

“He’s speaking in your grandmama’s voice so he can trick you and drag you down to hell”

I had a big swig of bourbon when those lines hit. Had to work hard to keep from shooting it out my nose.
That was the best stuff I've seen on SNL for a long time.

It was one of the funnier SNLs recently. And the Colin Jost-Michael Che joke tradeoff was funny, too.

Holy shit !! I'm at work and it's a good thing I'm the boss. I LOL'd so loud a couple employees came in to make sure I'm alright. Merry Christmas everyone.

That still looks better than every cake I’ve ever baked. (Which is like 4, before I quit forever)

Had not watched SNL in many, many years - it just wasn't funny from my POV.

Have caught parts of three, four episodes of this season and am now recording them. This was one pretty good.

Careful, he may want to take you up on that...

It's so great to see Eddie back out there. We rewatched 'Raw' a few months ago and it's still hysterical.

Eddie talks to Seinfeld about the feud with Cosby on 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee'. Worth checking out for those interested.
