For rifles, I like to play with ballistic programs. For a red dotted pistol, I would like to use a ballistic program. As a reloader, I can find sectional density, ballistic coefficient for the projectiles that I buy. Currently carry Winchester PDX1 in 9mm Luger because the FBI use to carry this round. I would like to plug in the numbers for this round with my RM06 and get a projected trajectory chart.
I know that I could just zero at 10, 15 or 25 yards and shoot at different distances. Where would one find SD and BC for factory rounds so that I can plug those numbers into another ballistic program?
I want to play with a ballistic program out to 150 yards or so. First question that I'm after is the sectional density and BC for Winchester PDX1 124 grainers. Thanks for a shove in the right direction.
