I've been a long time user of the Dawson Precision adjustable rear sight but I've been looking at potentially trying out the Warren Tactical adjustable rear sight (tactical) on a new Glock 17 due to my experience with Dawson sights rusting easily.

However, there really isn't much online about the Warren adjustable sights so I have a few questions for those that run one.

1) Is the rear sight angled backwards like the fixed sights? The listing on the site for the tactical version doesn't have a photo but it appears the competition ones don't appear to have the angle.

2) Has anyone experienced rusting with Warren sights?

3) Any issues with zero retention? Is the mechanism similar to the Dawson sights?

Thank you. :D

I don't know, but here is an ad with picture.

Sure looks like a Kensight except rounded corners instead of beveled.

My Warren fixed sights started rusting after about a week of carry, but my sweat also ate the clear coat off a stainless/ aluminum S&W 642 in two days of summer carry. If these are the same finish I wouldn’t expect much corrososion resistance.

Same here, I found the Warrens rust as fast as a Dawson. I keep very thin coat of balistol on mine.

Ah interesting, guess it doesn't angle backwards like the standard Warren sights.

I'll make sure to keep the sights oiled as well!

Seems like black plastic would make a good sight but everybody disses Glock for it.
