I am hosting Caleb in Northern VA for his signature "Medic 1" course 22-23 Feb. Per Caleb:
"This extensive two day course is our most popular course we offer. It is designed for folks with little to no medical or first aid training. We teach the student how to identify and treat severely injured casualties/patients by utilizing hands-on skills practice and plenty of scenario-based training. Throughout the course, each student will practice each skill learned during the lecture portions. The student will also participate as individuals and in groups; in scenario-based training dealing with one or multiple injured persons.

- Scene Safety
- Patient Assessment
- Penetrating & Blunt Trauma
- Identify and treat severe chest injuries; sucking chest wounds, tension pneumothorax.

- Fractures & Sprains; Broken Bones
- Thermal Burns
