I just joined up here, and didn't see anywhere for the newbies to introduce themselves.
Just a bit about me. Started shooting pistols just shortly out of the Army back in 2007, but had a fairly long hiatus from shooting much due to having kids, starting a business, etc. Age caught up with me, though, and I switched from the calibers that "start with a 4" to 9mm about a year ago, and made the jump from shooting striker fired (mostly XDs) to Berettas this last spring. My commercial M9 has become my EDC now, it's running with LTT G10 grips, G kit, and LTT trigger job in a bag. i've run ~6300 rounds through it since I bought it in April. Followed it shortly with a 92 Compact, it's my backup now. Also has LTT G10 grips, G kit, and stock trigger on 14# hammer spring. It's got ~2300 rounds through it.
Switching to DA/SA is where I really started becoming a student of pistol shooting. Looking forward to what the forums have to offer. Looking to get into some competitive shooting, classes, etc, which are in short supply in the rural area I live.
