Brownells is selling assembled M9A3 slides with night sights for $233. One of the reviews said it fit his standard 92FS. If you were considering paying to have night sights pinned or tritium added to your standard slide this might be a better value, especially if you can wait for the next 10% off coupon code.

Now if only someone would make an 80% 92FS frame!

Sweet. Hope they keep them in stock. Looks like they are flat earth color.

Correct FDE. Thanks for providing the link, that was an oversight on my part.

Any idea if the M9A3 FDE is paint or like a PVD?

I’m really interested in the 9x21 version they have listed as out of stock as well!

Welp there goes 500 bucks out the door. Two slides to upgrade my M9 and 92FS, plus a G-lever kit. You know, because my M9s need a refresh.

Pretty sure it is Cerakote. Still better than the Bruniton finish though in my opinion.

Code M8Y should take $20 off, if it still works.

Sweet!!!

Of course this happens when I'm trying to save for a new AK and a M9A1 with night sights (supposedly they are still available) and oh yeah - taking the family to Disneyland.......

So do I pick up one of these and try to find a M9A1 cheap (not likely here in my market) or just stay the course........

But hell, with a weekend deal of 10% and free shipping one of these slides isn't much more than it used to cost to send a slide into tool-tech for nightsights.....

There is just no end to things I want to spend money on but unfortunately don't have a central bank at my disposal......

Screw it! It's done......

It would be nice if this became a regular stock item but I doubt it given that Beretta didn't get the contract and if I didn't jump now I'd just be kicking myself later.

Yep - it still works. Thanks! Beers on me if we ever meet. With my pricing, the code and free shipping the price came to less than $200.

Thanks for the code!

FWIW I have had this slide on back order since February. I don’t think it will last or be a regular item.

That's my rule on Beretta parts when on sale. I'll use them all eventually.

Now I can upgrade my LTT M9 into an LTT M9A3G.

If that was stainless I'd be all over it. I'd love to mount a Vertec slide on my 92 INOX.

All it needs is a G conversion kit.

Brownells also has G kits on their site. I ordered two slides and G-kit, since I already have an unused G-kit sitting in my gun safe.

Also, a two-tone FDE and black Beretta will look fucking cool.

Let’s say I wanted to snag one of those A3 slides and have it milled for an optic... who do we like/trust?

And would I need to go with a smaller optic like the Shield RMS? Or would an SRO or ACRO work?

As far as I know nobody has cracked the code on milling a 92 for an optic yet. The relatively high mounted extractor and the firing pin block that rises out of the slide with each trigger press both get in the way. Langdon is working on it though.

What’s wrong with that? Every M9 I’ve been issued has been Accokeek, never had an issue with a slide.

Gallatin though is another story altogether.

It's quite a bit more expensive than the advertised M9A3 slide and it's perpetually out of stock.

I think he meant that the stainless Vertec slides are never in stock on the Beretta website. It's been showing out of stock on their website for at least the last year.

When I went looking for a Vertec slide last year, I found one in Bruniton finish on Optics Planet. I put a G conversion kit on that slide and now have no idea what I want to do with it, but at the time that I bought it, I was sure that I needed it.

I'm fairly certain I'm going to feel the same way about the two M9A3 slides I just bought.

I wonder if Beretta USA sells stripped frames?

Not at this time. Getting major manufacturers to sell stripped frames is kind of difficult since it's a serialized part and whatnot. I'm still hoping that they sell bare APX chassis someday.

Great to know, I was referring to the slides however.

My M9A3 slide came if from Brownelles today (a super nice treat upon returning from a 5 day Disneyland trip with the family since the souvenirs at Galaxy's edge were too expensive). As Borat would say - "It's a very nice....."

No we do not. Unlikely to change in the near future, although I'd love to offer them like AR Lowers.

We haven't made Inox Vertecs in some time. I expect that we will have more slides and Inox Vertecs next year.

Well, there goes my pipe dream of ever getting the night sight LE version. Good thing I bought the M9A3 slide. Funny thing is the online roster does not show a SKU like for other guns but I'm sure there is some secret CalDOJ buffoonery behind the scenes??!! The Handgun Roster is a prime example of how slippery slopes work.

You really should visit more often! You have sprinkled all kinds of good news around the Beretta threads today.

If you say y’all just found a warehouse full of pre-86 93R’s I’ll be selling a kidney. Lol!

As I recall - that would make it a M9A2. Didn’t the Beretta bid include slides that would be used to retrofit original M9s to give them night sight capability?

Except that it's got a D hammer and spring, and a G decocker. So...M9A2GD

As long as it's not a G-D M9A2, you're okay.

Looks good!

And a non-M9 slanted dust cover.

You would have though I would have noticed that lack of a hammer spur???? :(

The one pictured fit and functioned perfectly. The second one fits well, but haven't fired it.

Seemed to fit just fine on a 1989 vintage 92FS.
