Anyone who willfully sets any innocent living thing on fire needs to be punched in the dick so hard that their mom doubles over in pain. JMO.

Unfortunately, he is now going to be returned to prison, where he no doubt will prey on the weaker prisoners. There are some people who cannot be fixed because they have nothing like a conscience. Perhaps that is a reflection on his childhood. Perhaps he was treated with brutality and depravity when he was young. It doesn't matter now, though, because as Blues notes he has become evil. He is willing to potentially kill two people by burning when he has absolutely no need to do so. We do not know how to fix that; indeed there probably is no fix.

A sane country would execute him. Instead we will place other people at risk because the US Supremes says no death penalty without a murder. The fact that those other people are prisoners themselves makes no difference. We don't (and shouldn't) sentence criminals to serve X years of imprisonment in the same cell block as soulless maniacs like this.
