that's why I ran a hose from a funnel on my press to a large container under my bench. 1000 rounds is about 20 minutes loading for me if everything goes smoothly.

Thanks for the tip. My neighbour (he's a bit of a hoarder) recently gave me a bunch of reloading equipment. In between all the good stuff was a shopping bag FULL of used primers and every empty primer box he had ever bought. WTF? As much as I appreciated the gesture that bag went straight into the bin

2600 rounds an hour is my max I think, maybe slightly more. I actually don't remember. that's with a buddy loading primer tubes for me with my home made tube filler. Dillon 1050, case feeder and bullet feeder. But, things can, and often do, go wrong when you push at that rate. If you don't pay attention to everything it just takes one misfed case or bullet to shut everything down for a few minutes. 1800-2000 rounds an hour is our normal rate. It helps now that my ammo sponsor gives me deprimed, resized brass from his Camdex processing machine. No more broken primer punches to deal with anymore, which I used to get all the time.
I used to keep all my empty primer boxes, bullet boxes etc. that's how I used to track my ammo usage through various guns. Writing it down seemed so much more difficult. Dumb me. writing it down is much easier. I do wonder what they think at the recycling center when my bags come through though.

1800 per hour is haulin'! That is one round every two seconds!!

Most of the time I just sit back and cruise along but my record on my RL550B is 468 rounds of 40S&W in one hour. I have not tried to see how fast I can run the 650 but I know it is faster because the primer catch fills up quicker.
