I bought the “The man who killed Hitler and then the Bigfoot (https://amzn.to/2Z18YzB)” dvd yesterday and watched it last night with my wife. It stars Sam Elliot. I was hoping for another bone tomahawk/ wind river kind of surprise. It was well done with Sam Elliot being an aging badass veteran with PTSD and a lost love being recruited by the FBI to kill a Bigfoot with a biological plague before it becomes a pandemic. I would like to say I liked it but no way. Too much not explained, not enough WW2 action, I don’t know what happened to the woman and to much time with Sam Elliot moping in a bar or alone with his dog. The biggest WTF is an elderly Sam Elliot walking into the Canadian wilderness and finding Bigfoot right away. I think the director tried to tell too many stories so none were done well. Hell, it looked like it could be two or three movies. His missions in WW2. His life and finally hunting Bigfoot . Save you money. Watch it on HBO

You’re gonna give that DVD a place of honor right next to “Zombie Strippers (https://amzn.to/2Z0Jgv1)” on your shelf though, right?

I’m not sure how your expectations for this movie could have been high. 1hr38mins Ian enough to tell a fantastic tale (especially since it spans such a great amount of time).

It had some problems, but the movie's title says it all. If they had gotten anyone other than Sam Elliot to star, the movie would have been a bust.

I am a fan of Sam Elliot. I’m not saying I expected it to be a great movie; I just didn’t expect it to be that bad. I was just trying to prevent somebody else making the same mistake. Now Zombie stripper? That is bad movie gold on deployment. The boondock saints, team America and snatch were also watched too much while deployed
