My shop just got these in. Pretty accurate, feels like a little more thump than golden sabers but less the standard Remington 125gr@1450.

I cant find any details on the bullet type but like the profile for speed loaders.

I've also seen advertised velocity at 1300-1500.

Does anybody have any info on these? Who makes a 148 jhp bullet?

I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

Google isn't that helpful

1425fps there

1500fps there.

That's the top three results on Google.

I don't really care what the velocity is but I'm interested if anyone has any other info on how the bullet performs.

Sorry, I didn't mean to appear rude.

Obviously not the same bullet, but some years ago I shot some Fiocchi .45 JHPs into water jugs. They expanded beautifully but the jackets separated.

They were cheap enough to use for practice or carry in a pinch, but now I stick with bonded JHPs.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190804/60cf09fd8c3e20763f600910ef3f1863.jpg

Not that it was rude but it wasn't very helpful. The first 3 Google results were all different. In the op I gave the range from 1300-1500fps because that is what the Google said.

Water tends to over expand bullets.

Velocity is claimed to be 1310 fps from a ten inch non-vented barrel in the 2019 Fiocchi catalog
http://www.fiocchiusa.com/

However, I question that velocity after quickly finding an obvious error in their ballistic table. Also, most of the .357 Magnum velocities listed seem rather low for such a long test barrel.

I doubt one will find much gel test information on this particular ammo, but it could potentially perform like the Hornady Custom 140 gr. XTP @ 1350 fps or the Winchester 145 gr. Silvertip @ 1290 fps.

Please share any future results you might have with this unusual load.

Did you download the catalog to see their velocity? I can't find it anywhere.

I will.

I've never done any organic gel testing but might look into it for these.
