I am not talking about truck or trunk guns, I am referring to something much more important — your standard target load out.

Here is mine, at least this week. Let’s see your load out!

MGM steel challenge targets, paper target stands, Red Stitch A zone and four plate dueling trees, traffic cones for marking shooting positions, ammo, and range supplies.

I have a two foot section of 4" PVC with an assortment of rolled up paper targets, and a plastic tub with B-8s, index cards, soccer cones for shooting positions, stapler and staples, and a 100' measuring tape. The places I shoot have stands so I don't keep any in the trunk.

Hookers and blow, of course.

If you have them in the back of your vehicle, you can get all the range work done you'd ever want.

I am not getting regular range time (pf folks who are members at mill creek in kc, please PM). When I did, it was:
Min 3 uspsa or comparable people targets
Min 100 b8RCs
A stack of 3x5s (thanks, Todd)
2” sticker dots
Pasters

After a while I started toting around a portable stand and lathe.

There’s a third steel target out around 200 you can’t see from this angle.

I’m pretty much done with paper targets except when I need to dial in an optic.

I have a stack of B8's and some Dot Torture print outs in my truck. My range provides target stands and spark adhesive.

At first I thought that was the worlds largest toolbox, then I realized it's the worlds smallest truck bed.

No picture at the moment, but I have a few PVC paper target stands I made a few years ago, a couple drive-in stakes for hanging single steel targets, and sometimes a couple of those blue 55 gallon plastic barrels to use as barricades etc.

I have become a fan of the conduit racks from www.shootsteel.com and have three of these racks that that typically stay in the truck.

I also have two Stanley toolboxes that I am pretty sure are the same as:
40046
One of them is the kit with the tow strap, jumper cables, and yada, yada, yada. The other one was supposed to get filled with shooting stuff like the chronograph but ended up full of ratchet straps. I have moved the hand tools up into the cab, so maybe I can consolidate to one box and get the chronograph and tripod and stuff in the other one like was planned.

Both of the toolboxes are up against the front, with the targets behind them but in front of a 2x12 that fits in the slots in the bed. Another 2x12 in the back keeps the groceries (and beer...) in place, and by using the 2x12s I can still haul 8' lumber that rides above the toolboxes and targets.

53' turning radius sure is a PITA, but it is handy to haul a lotta shit. Today FB popped up and reminded me today was five years since I brought it home. My buddy bruceride has his dealership a couple hours away, nice that I can even close the tailgate behind the FZ-1, it is not a small motorcycle.

I feel that - “What is in the back of your vehicle?” Is the type of question most appropriately answered with, “Yo’ momma.”

So, I’m gonna go with jumper cables, a tool kit, a snow shovel, and yo’ momma.

5 newly constructed wooden target stand bases, 12 or so 5' 1"x2" target stakes, 2 AR500 10" plates with hanging cables and C-clamps, a crapload of dead leaves, acorns and other flotsom.

In the rear of the crew cab are cardboard IDPA/IPSC targets, a large roll of construction paper, a box with rolls of various photo-realistic targets, a cheesy Bushnell spotting scope and enough tools, jacks, fire extinguishers, crowbars and other crap to restrict the rear seating down to one crummy fold down seat on the right.

On range trips, the giant range bag that has the guns, ammo, 8.5 x 11" targets, and a big plastic tote box that has more ammo, ear pro, eye pro, bipods, gatorade, D-lead soap, TP and what ever else may be needed gets added to the load along with at least 2.5 gals of water in a cooler.

My days of driving 20 miles to the range and finding out that I left something behind are so frigging over.

PS, I just got a med pouch on sale from Grey Ghost so now it and it's contents gets added to the tote box...and more staples...and more tape...and...

You should throw in some uranium and a venomous reptile.

Speaking specifically about going to the range, I typically toss some wooden cargo pallets and random wood planks on the bed of my truck. (One of the tools that lives in the back of the cab is a hammer and some nails. Also, naturally, zip ties.) They work well as a wind-resistant target stand that is suitable for my budget, in case the range either has no target stands or has no target stands intact enough to use (which happens annoyingly often). I can also place the pallets upright to simulate low cover if I want to.

There is a plastic tub with eye pro, ear pro, stapler, post-it notes, pasters, etc. that also lives in the cab. It's a huge help not to have to worry about packing all that stuff every time. Just have to remember to pack the necessary guns, magazines, ammo, targets, timer, traffic cones if needed, and the stuff that goes on the bed.

No target stuff. Theres tools, basic camp gear, a little food, water, and ammo for whatever I may have along, meaning if its something id commonly have, theres probably ammo in the truck already.

Right now just two large paper targets in hopes that I get away from work in time to shoot today. I also have my range bag which includes a bunch of 3x5 note cards and a staple gun (and ammo, G19, mags, marker, shot timer, etc).

I have met hookers that reminded me a great deal of venomous reptiles.

And I had a PFC in my squad that started to run into an impact area at 29 Palms to pick up some depleted uranium rounds after an A-10 run. "For a souvenir."

We smote him mightily, and he refrained. Old days, old ways.

Forgot the windshield brush/scraper.

When I was in a more rural area, added a couple of bottles of water, some energy bars and a Winchester ‘94.
