I’ve never once used my MantisX in live fire. It’s all been dryfire. If you’re not honest with yourself or you’re not processing what you’re seeing correctly, it can be pretty eye opening for what it shows you.

That said, I haven’t used my MantisX since sometime last year and I’ve made my best improvements in dryfire by being more honest with myself in what I see rather than chasing the data that the MantisX feeds me.

FOR ME the MantisX doesn’t work very well because it conditions me to focus on the end result and not the process of making a good shot. Focusing on the process has yielded far better results for me and I’ll continue down that path.
