Remington 783 Heavy Barrel

First, I am familiar with Big Green's decline; so, no need for generic posts about how Remington isn't what it once was.

Does anyone here have firsthand experience with 783 Heavy Barrel (https://www.remington.com/rifles/bolt-action/model-783/model-783-synthetic-heavy-barrel)? They are available in .308 and 6.5CM at around a $350 price point.

I have no firsthand experience, but only because I haven't found a 7mm Mag. I believe Petzal review an early sample. The main points were that the rigid action makes them accurate, but the barrels are rough as hell.
