I had the chance to tour the S&W factory this past week, and got some cool video of their forging machine in operation. My inner 8 year old was extremely happy at the giant hammer portion of the event.

I also learned a ton about what S&W does in terms of quality control on their product lines. I also talked to a couple of people about the accuracy issues with some M&Ps and what they're doing to address that.

What did they say RE the accuracy problems?

Don't leave us hanging.

the TL;DR version was "we're aware of it, and we're taking steps to address it within the M&P line". They did not address what specific measures they were taking to address it other than a standard line, but even the fact that they are addressing it at all is a refreshing change from the usual corporate line of "OUR GUNS ARE FINE THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS HERE".
