I read this post over at KitUp and thought it was worth sharing. We put a lot of effort into firearms training, we should also consider the medical training side.

Thanks for sharing that, I agree 100%. But I have to admit its something I haven't given much thought to, and thats why I thank you. I will be looking into some basic medical training courses.

Excellent point. One thing that I want to add is that many professional workplaces, especially mid to large companies, are offering free basic First Aid and/or CPR training. While not anything high speed, the basics are more useful than people oftentimes think. So, check with your employer, and see if you can take advantage of it, free of charge, while getting paid to do it. It may save someone's life in the end.
