Full disclosure, Co-workers of mine are members of this Lodge and/or involved with this project. I myself am not.

As per the listing, this pistol was qualified with and carried on-duty by 3 Texas Rangers.

Please feel free to share far and wide with anyone you feel would be interested, unless of course you'd rather snap it up for yourself.

Thanks for the heads up, I will be bidding. I do love Ranger memorabilia.

Good luck to your lodge.

I may drop in at Kyle's and take look. Cool.

I also find it kind of curious and cool that the box was made by an inmate.

They might do better just charging 100 bucks for rangers to carry a person’s 1911 and giving them a certificate

You should see some examples of the Texas prison leather. Just jaw-dropping stuff. A buddy is a deputy with a county south of here, and his 1911 rig is just amazing. They will even do the buckles and keepers with old Mexican cinco peso coins.

In ye olden days, Texas Ranger badges were made out of those Mexican 5-peso silver coins.

Sorry for the side-track. And none of you jokers bid against me, please!

Several of our investigators have those rigs.

That's supremely cool. If someone here wins it and doesn't post bonus pics it should be a bannable offense.

So did you win it?

So did you win it?

Nope, I bailed when the bidding went over $3,000. :(

I do hope that it found a good home.
