Any good? Reviews? LGS has this one: https://www.tombstonetactical.com/catalog/sig-sauer/pm400-11b-spsb-sig-m400-223rem-11-and-quot-pistol-stabilizing-brace/

I’d probably change the stock, er, I mean brace, but is there any reason to skip it?

I have one. I like it - hasn't given me any issues. The CHP adopted the full sized M400 for its patrol rifle - haven't heard anything bad about them. I haven't shot a lot of rounds through mine though. I grabbed it during a brief moment when such things were possible in Kalifornia. I've since put a SBA3 brace on it.

I also have a Sig516 that is my primary 5.56 carbine. It's been a great rifle for me and while the operating systems are different - gave me the faith I needed to pull the trigger on the M400.

2013 called. There's NO reason to still be using that original brace unless you're trying to clear inventory. They're turrible.

Hard pass at that price too, considering the price of the Centurion pistol or a BCM, both of which come with way better options.

I just posted that link for reference. LGS has a $990 price tag on it. It might be used though, I just saw it on the wall.

Yeah I'd ditch the stock, but that'd be a pure expense to add on since I don't think anyone would buy this one off me...And I know the Sig has a QD mount built in to the receiver so I can't use the PDW. :(

Keep an eye on gas rings. Sig had a bad batch of bolt carriers with poor (rough) chrome lining in the carrier, causing excessive gas ring wear (gas rings worn out in under 1k rounds). Sig replaced the entire BCGs for all of our patrol rifles, even though only some were of the affected date range. I wish I could tell you the affected manufacture dates, but I can’t be entirely sure. Probably 2015 or 2016.
